Website Redesign

XYi Design's website was in need of a refresh, both visually and functionally. The existing site was outdated and did not effectively showcase the company's portfolio or services. I was tasked with leading the complete redesign, focusing on both front-end user experience and back-end efficiency.

The Challenge:

The existing hand-coded website was outdated, visually weak, and lacked a functional system for non-technical team members to manage content.

1. Primary Goal (Visual/UX):
   • Redesign the site from scratch to create a sleeker user experience, and more user-friendly platform that better reflects the XYi Design brand and better showcases the work they do.
2. Secondary Goal (Technical/Efficiency):
   • Successfully migrate the entire site to a Content Management System (WordPress).
3. Result/Impact:
   • Reduced the average time required for a major campaign update from 3-4 days (when manually coded) to only a few hours, leading to significant operational efficiency and freeing up design resources.
